Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and validate plant mass balances and simulation models for operating facilities.
Handle process studies and design modifications to optimize existing operations.
Use HYSYS, Promax, and other process simulation programs to ensure plant performance.
Implement long-term operational strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Provide technical direction and support to both in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom design contractors.
Lead engineering teams during shutdowns and start-up phases of major plants.
Develop cost estimates for engineering, labor, and materials based on preliminary design data.
Ensure compliance with API, ISO, ASME, and industry codes and standards.
Conduct HAZOP and risk assessment studies to maintain process safety.
Review, inspect, and recommend modifications to ensure project conformance with company standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 10–15 years in process control within refining, Oil & Gas, or petrochemical industries.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in metering systems and process optimization.
- Proven experience with process safety studies (HAZOP, Risk Assessment).
Skills:
- Proficiency in simulation software (HYSYS, Promax).
- Strong technical and leadership capabilities.
- Fluent in English; well-presented and professional.
